Within our church family we have experience supporting and loving people with a range of needs which might affect their engagement with a Sunday morning meeting and we aim to be flexible and adaptable.
If you need additional movement or loo breaks for example – feel free to pop in and out of the meeting as suits you. If you have sensory needs – please let us know and we'll see what environmental changes we might be able to offer. If a 90-minute meeting is too long for you to manage, you are welcome to join us for any part of a meeting you are comfortable with (even if it's just tea or coffee time).
We would just love to meet you.
We meet in a light and airy room at Hanwell Fields Community Centre which is easily accessed with no steps or slopes. We have baby-changing facilities and a large, wheelchair-friendly loo. There is ample free parking including disabled bays right outside.
We know it can be daunting to visit a new place where you don't know what to expect so here's a run down of our usual Sunday morning routine:
Tea, coffee, squash available from 10am so we can chat or just sit to start the day.
A time of worship from 10.30am. For us this means we sing songs, pray, bring words of encouragement or prophecy for one another, share Bible verses and thank God for things that have happened in the week. there is no pressure for people to take part, just opportunity to do so if you wish.
From around 11am, we have a time of teaching from the Bible or a shared Bible study together.
12.00 we end with more drinks and sometimes, cake!
Anyone who is part of the Jubilee Church community is welcome to join us most Thursday evenings at Peter and Fran's house to eat dinner together. This includes one-off visitors. If you cannot manage Sunday mornings for whatever reason, you are still welcome to join us for dinner and friendship on a Thursday.
